Overall Diversity Rating
3.5 out of 5 Stars
Bates White decentralizes the majority of its recruiting processes. For undergrad recruiting (entry-level positions), the firm creates roughly 10 teams of 5-7 people for each target school, and one team for all non-target school applicants. Each team reviews applicants and makes a decision on who should receive an applicant. For each round of interviews, the recruiting team makes an effort to mix genders, education backgrounds, and level within the firm. Everyone who participates in the recruiting process undergoes an unconscious bias training.
