J.P. Morgan No. 1 in Debt & Equity Deals For First Nine Mont

Thomson Reuters has released its capital markets league tables for the first nine months of 2010, and according to the data services firm, "Overall global debt capital markets activity totaled US$1.3 trillion during the third quarter of 2010, a 22% increase from the second quarter when volume reached US$1.0 trillion." However, "year-to-date activity fell 14% from the the same time last year, despite a 15% increase in the number of global offerings with 11,578 so far this year compared to 10,151 over the first three quarters of 2009."
