When I was a student, the fixed curve was fairly harsh - pegged for mostly C grades, a handful of B and D grades and only a few A grades plus mandatory F grades based on the size of each class. That curve also had the highest possible grade of 90, which makes little sense. Luckily, that fixed cure has since been softened so that most students will earn a B and professors are no longer required to fail anyone.
Students are more collaborative and helpful than competitive, which makes USD a much nicer place to study the law.Quality of Life

San Diego is a laid-back beautiful beach city. San Diego's laid-back and friendly attitude seeps into the law school. I found most of the students, staff and faculty to be friendly and approachable. I never felt crushing competition and unbearable pressure at USD.Level
