Class sizes are only about 15 to 45 per class. The quality of teachers were also great. Tulane provides a global MBA, which includes classes and one week abroad in Europe, South America, and Asia. Some of the more unique classes I took include Burkenroad (equity research), Darwin Fenner (student managed endowment portfolio), and energy trading.
Quality of LifeCost of living and school is great.
AdmissionsThe admission process includes essays, GMAT, and interviews. Scholorship opportunities exists.

Very experiences and intelligent faculty. Most of our faculty graduated from top notch business schools and spent many years gaining relevant work experience in their respective industries. Small classes that allow for a lot of one-on-one time with professors. Great Global Leadership program that allows all students to spend 1 week studying in Paris, Buenos Aires, and China during their time at the Freeman School.
Quality of LifeThe campus is great and the university has a fairly new building for graduate business students. Cost of living is fairly low. New Orleans is an extremely charming city with a lot to offer in terms of history, social life, dining, and culture.
AdmissionsThe school has the typical selection process of a top MBA program. One of its best selling points is the amount of aid offered through scholarships and fellowships.

A lot of unique hands on experiences available. The faculty are all easily accessible and seem to be enthusiastic about what they are doing. With all programs there is the bad class once in a while.
Quality of LifeFacility is top notch
AdmissionsThe admissions department was really on top of it and communicative. A lot of scholarship/grant money is available. Application was very straight forward.

Quality of classes is overall high. Classmates are competitive but not to the point where its off putting and hurts the overall atmosphere. Faculty is prestigious, all have exceptional backgrounds from which they draw on their experience constantly. School is very well connected to the community - which offers lots of experience in all areas of the studies offered at The Freeman School. Many classes use case studies along with lecture format. Offers the Global Leadership classes in three of four semesters which provides a week of study abroad to learn about different economies and challenges that other countries face in international business.
Quality of LifeCost of living is very reasonable. New Orleans can be done very cheaply if you put the effort in. The campus is great, they offer top of the line class rooms, computer and media facilities. Dining hall is efficient. Neighborhoods are relatively safe (for New Orleans) and they take the safety of their students very seriously, offering rides to off campus residences. People here seem very happy.
AdmissionsVery typical process. I forget the questions, but they were available online and there were no surprises. Talked rather informally about my past education and work experience. Unsure what they weighed more or less as far as essays and GMAT go.

classes are small typically less than 30 students. Instructors have been fantastic. competitiveness is there but it is not bad. Students are well rounded and the class is well planned. The Management of Technology and Innovation class is incredible but the professor who taught it has left. The school is very tied into local and regional business, particularly in finance and new ventures and there are many opportunities there. The global leadership program is exceptional. The number of international students (appx 30%) bring something very different to the table.
Quality of LifeQoL is uberhigh. crime and safety is a sticking point off campus at night but otherwise everything else is great. Tulane scores the highest of marks in all other departments.
AdmissionsI do not know how selective they are. I was contacted by them after having several discussions with friends about attending graduate school. They have a really interesting experienced student or executive application. It is basically a one page application submitted with a resume and references and followed by a 1hr phone interview. After this they get back to you within 1 business day with an admission decision and financial aid package.
