“Great School for MBA”

Uppers

Connections, opportunities, location are some of the uppers. Faculty is amazing - You learn from CXOs who have regular day jobs and teach us after hours at school. Great way to stay attuned with the latest in the industry

Downers

Campus life is limited to school hours and happy hours. All other events happen outside of campus as the campus is pretty small. However, its a trade off between location and campus life and I will chose location any day!

Comments

Going to Columbia for my MBA was one of the best decisions of my life!

Location, Location, Location, and the reputation, unless one gets an offer from H/S/W, don't see why CBS is not the top choice

Downers

Living in New York, everything can be super expensive;

Large cohort, you cannot be able to know everyone personally

Comments

For an international student, two years living in New York is always a good idea.

Downers

Costs of living

Limited studying space on campus

Career office assistance to prepare students for recruiting (e.g. interview training, industry research materials/coaches, etc.)

Comments

The NYC experience and academic quality are worthwhile.

Many great guest speakers came to the campus.

Some adjunct professors have extensive real world experience and make the learning less theoretical.
