Case Western is well connected in Northern Ohio. Accordingly, for those looking to stay in Ohio, Case Western is a great option.

Downers

Case Western does not have a national reputation, which may hinder job prospects outside of Ohio.

Comments

For those looking to stay in Ohio, Case Western Law is a great option.

High quality faculty. Unique extracurricular opportunities. Great area to go to school.

Downers

Certain favored, highly specialized departments seem to get disproportionate attention from the administration.

Comments

Case Western provides some very unique opportunities in certain specialized areas of law. If these particular areas do not interest you, it may be prudent to look elsewhere given the high tuition.

I don't think there are any "on campus" housing options for law students, but we all pretty much live within a mile radius of each other so spending time together outside of school is really easy. Living in an urban area you of course have to be careful walking alone late at night and should lock your doors during the day.

Admissions

There were specific application questions, the LSAT score was I think a little bit above average. Scholarships you're automatically considered for upon application.

The campus is nice, but it is surrounded by urban blight and students are frequently victims of crime.

Cleveland Heights, the closest suburb to campus, is a terrible city. Both the city government and the realtors gouge the students financially.
