Diversity - 80% international, Program structure, Internship opportunities, and Extracurricular activities.

Downers

The name of the school is not recognized nationally, but this is changing very rapidly.

Not enough classrooms in the building.

Comments

This is an excellent school! The scholarship rewards are great and they are actually interested in helping you! They will even go as far as potentially increasing your scholarship to enable you to finish your degree!

Classes at the IBS' MBA program are really demanding and challenging. What is obvious from the very beginning is the quality of the faculty members; but they are also very approachable, and always concerned about the learning of the students.

Quality of Life

The campus offer a wide variety of facilities for students, in a safe and comfortable environment. Many options for dining, libraries, access to computers and WiFi internet all over campus, sport facilities, and the like. Campus police is available 24/7

Admissions

There are several things that are required to apply to the MBA or other graduate programs at Brandeis University International Business School. I had to provide undergraduate transcripts, letters of recommendation, competitive TOEFL and GMAT scores, four years of work experience plus had the support of the Fulbright Program to be admitted to the program.

Classes are really diverse.

More emphasis on case methodology and all of them have really lively class discussions and debates.

Professors are world class and yet highly accessbile. More individual attention than any other schools i have heard about. Professors are really interested in offering research assistantships and also proper research internships. Notable Faculty include - Prof Ben Gomes Casseres, Grace Zimmerman, Charles Reed Jr etc.. Almost all are wonderful

Grading is tough.
