Business school is great, especially accounting
Supportive, friendly environment
Most professors really care about you
Low cost of living, and easy access to tons of jobs between SLC and Provo
Great social atmosphere for most people
DownersStudents are very competitive
During class discussions, everyone frequently has the same opinion on issues because most of us come from similar backgrounds
Lots of generals that have to be taken in 500+ person auditoriums
There's a stoplight crosswalk outside of the business building that is so tempting to cross, but the BYU police are stationed right next to it
CommentsI would really recommend BYU, even if it has some downers. Lots of people get married here too, if you're into that.

I really enjoyed the people, the upstanding culture and the support you get from great networks and mentors.
DownersI feel like there is less of a diverse culture here to experience many different viewpoints or socio-economic difficulties
CommentsI highly recommend this place. I do not know where I would be without the incredible network at BYU, and for an incredibly cheap cost. Loved the people.

BYU offers a great education at an affordable cost. They still attract top offers from leading Fortune 1000.
DownersSome programs lack career development opportunities. The Civil Engineering department is filled with students who need guidance on where/how they should prepare for a full-time job.
CommentsLive close to campus! Parking is becoming a nightmare. There's a great community south of campus.

Do well in your classes and chase good job opportunities, and you can literally go work anywhere you want. The top students at BYU match top students at almost any other school. So going here for undergraduate in business, pre-med, or engineering will not set you back in anyway whatsoever for your future career goals.
DownersThe culture here is pretty homogeneous, but that's not a necessarily a bad thing, you just either fit it or you don't. There's not a lot of systemized career exploration options. You kind of have to carve your own path and figure out what you want on your own.
CommentsThere's is not a cheaper, more prestigious school you can find to attend in the US that will prepare you for a professional career.

The incredible variety of experiences and learning opportunities.
The ability to "choose your own adventure"; or create the undergraduate experience you are looking for.
Extremely helpful in providing career resources and recruiting opportunities.
DownersThey didn't install escalators in the LSB. This should be fixed.
CommentsDo you want to explore ideas, be flexible in finding your path, and have deep and exploratory discussions grounded on a common belief system?
BYU will give you all that, and great job placement to boot.

The teach integrity and discipline as well as the informational knowledge needed for success in academic areas. The cost of attending the school is extremely low due to the help that the sponsoring church gives it.
DownersIf you aren't a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints you may feel part of the minority there.
CommentsYou won't find a school who looks better with employers when they are looking for a quality education and good character.
