The primary focus is business and from day one, you are submerged in the "business boot camp" structure of Babson. From the freshman year FME program, where you collaborate with 30 other student and run your own business, to all of the concentration classes in junior and senior year, you are getting prepared for the real world. The professors are highly successful business people who excel in their fields and teach you how to be successful. The small class sizes allow real relationships with professors and peers to be established while allowing personalized attention to every student. Studying abroad is a popular option at Babson and they have programs with some of the most prestigious schools in the world, including London School of Economics and St. Andrews University. Although the workload at Babson is frequently overwhelming and difficult to manage, the students emerge with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed.

The academic course work is rigerous and the grading can be tough, but well worth the effort when you graduate and look back on all you accomplished. Class sizes are usually small and fairly personalized. Babson has great faculty members, especially the accounting faculty. Professors in almost every class I had were available outside of class to answer questions and help clear up confusing material.

Quality of Life

Everything is great and continues to improve every year.

Admissions

Babson incorporates some application processes from the Common App, but also has unique essays tailored to aspiring entrepreneurs.
