The notable professors and the intriguing courses that are offered.

Downers

The traffic to get to the location of the respective school each and every morning.

“Caring Staff, Brilliant Professions, Vast Opportunities”

The staff at this school know who you are and they care about you. Law school is hard, that's well known, but having support makes getting through it possible. Plenty of opportunities to do clinic work, judicial or law firm externships, pro-bono work. Extracurriculars like Moot Court and DRT help improve your oral advocacy. Well run student orgs like host networking and informational events.

Downers

The school only has one law journal. Students who don't make law review mis-out on valuable blue-booking skills.

Take a tour, talk to current students and alum. It's a great place to get an education. Just make sure its the right place for you.

“NYLS Rising 3L evening”

I like the evening program. The professors are incredibly prepared and motivated. The class is very diverse and the environment is friendly.

Downers

The administration is disorganized.

All student life events are scheduled too early for evening students.

Comments

I would really recommend it if you want to work in NYC because it is very plugged in locally, particularly as far as the public sector is concerned.
