Intern Reviews

  • "Ericsson puts a huge focus on work/life balance and always encourages employees to take their vacation days as to not get burned out. They even started a program where they encourage people to take vacation and submit photos from the vacation to be judged and the winner receives a prize. This is a great incentive program to promote work/life balance. They also only required me to work the regular 40 hrs/wk and did not try to get me to come in or do work after hours because they truly believe after work is time for relaxation and recharging for the days to come."
  • "The overall culture was unbelievable. People within the IT function were understanding and willing to teach me the basics of troubleshooting. People outside of my function were also more than willing to help me with my tasks. I don't remember a single person who confronted me with a negative attitude. I would work 40 hours a week and sometimes a little more because I was learning so much that I didn't want to stop. The work/life balance was perfect and I felt the whole experience was better than going to school."
  • "There was a strong emphasis placed on ensuring a positive work/life balance. This could be seen through the encouraged vacations and the expectation that those going on vacation is to be expected. I was never pushed to work past the hours I was allotted. Work load was a point of discussion between leaders and subordinates."
  • "Great work life balance! They work well with your school schedule and care about your well being."

Getting Hired Here

  • "The hiring process was pretty streamlined. The interviewers were both very eager and the interview wasn't too difficult."
  • "The interviews were very personable. they looked at cultural fit, how you think, and how you approach challenges."
  • "The quick succession of interviews and the involvement of the team members I would have to work with really help to secure my own desire to work for the company."
