Make-A-Wish® America internships are coveted, both because of the inspiring mission and because interns get real-world experience alongside talented professionals.
We offer 15 paid internships for each of the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. All internships are based in the Make-A-Wish global headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona and are compensated on an hourly basis.
National office interns work alongside talented staff in the Phoenix headquarters of one of the country's most recognized and well-respected charities, gaining real world experience in the fields of their interest. Intern opportunities vary by semester and may include, but are not limited to, the following disciplines:
Information Technology (IT)
Creative Writing/Content Development
Events & Campaigns
Human Resources (HR)
PR/Corporate Communications/Crisis Management
Social Media/Digital Marketing
The internship program is designed for current undergraduate or graduate students with the goal of being a leader in the non-profit sector.
The purpose of the internship program is to help undergraduate and/or graduate students further cultivate their skills through a real-life work experience. Recent college graduates are eligible only for the session immediately following graduation.
Students are responsible for their own transportation and housing.
