The Congressional Management Foundation is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to promoting a more effective Congress. CMF has pursued this mission for over 30 years by working internally with member offices, committees, leadership and institutional offices in the House and Senate to foster improved management practices.
Interns work closely with senior staff on a variety of training, consulting and research projects. Although interns provide administrative support, they also have the opportunity to work on projects relating to congressional management and e-government. Interns get a birds-eye view of Congress and congressional operations while assisting CMF staff in providing congressional management training programs, publications and services.
Open to all college students, as well as recent college graduates and graduate students.
