Founded in 1993, Wired is a magazine focused on the future of business, culture, innovation, and science. The publication was acquired by Conde Nast in the late 90s, and today has an audience of around 3.2 million readers. Wired also collaborates with Wired.com, a technology news site. Wired.com receives approximately 11.6 million unique users each month.

Wired hires interns in the following areas: Play section, research, reviews, and Start section. Responsibilities vary depending on the position and may include completing administrative tasks, fact checking, performing research for stories, pitching story ideas to editors, and reviewing products.

Eligibility

Open to undergraduates, graduate students, recent graduates, and mid-career applicants. Candidates must be pursuing a career in journalism.
