About Smithsonian Institution Internship

An internship at the Smithsonian Institution is a structured learning experience focused on the individual intern’s academic and professional goals. The Smithsonian offers approximately 60 different internship programs in areas such as art, history and culture, preservation, professional services, and scientific research, among others Interns are supervised directly by Smithsonian staff.

Requirements

Open to high school, undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students, as well as recent graduates and mid-career applicants. Must be at least 16 years old to apply. Non-US citizens are eligible.
