The Internship Program offers endless ways to explore potential careers through an immersive, paid program that encourages students to bring their passions and insights to work every day. The focus of the program is to develop and retain interns for future career opportunities. Internships are open to rising college juniors and seniors, though some departments also accept Master's students and law students.
ViacomCBS intern responsibilities vary based on department placement. A few of the placement options include: Ad Sales, Communications & Public Affairs, Creative Development, Data, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Programming, Technology, Research and Strategy.
The program is structured around four pillars:
- Professional Development (foundational development)
- Business Intelligence (learning about ViacomCBS & the media industry)
- Mentorship (creating a guiding and mutually beneficial experience)
- Networking/Social (community building/nurturing support system)

-Internships are paid at a standard competitive hourly rate, so proper US work authorization is required.
-Interns must be available for 10-12 weeks.
-Interns must be available at least 2 full days per week in the fall/spring and 5 days per week in the summer (no weekends).
-Internships are open to rising college juniors and seniors, though some departments also accept Master's students and law students.
-College credit is not required, but ViacomCBS will provide appropriate documentation if needed.
