About Thrivent IT Internship Program

Thrivent is a not-for-profit financial services organization that guides Christians on their Wise With Money Journey. As a mission-driven, membership-owned organization, we offer our more than 2 million members and customers a broad range of financial products, services and guidance to help them live a life of contentment, confidence and generosity. Thrivent and our family of businesses offer insurance, investments, banking and advice over the phone and online, as well as through financial professionals and independent agents nationwide.

For more than a century, Thrivent has helped Christians make wise money choices that reflect their values while offering them opportunities to demonstrate their generosity where they live, work and worship. Thrivent fosters a diverse workforce to serve our diverse membership, reflecting a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, and enhancing our inclusive workplace.

Our IT Internship Program is designed to give undergrads meaningful work in specific functions of the information technology (IT) environment; to provide a deeper understanding of IT in a corporate setting and its relationship to the greater organization, and to help interns get to know Thrivent Financial through networking and learning activities on our beautiful campuses.

We kick things off with New Employee Orientation day one, and thereafter support and train our IT Interns through our robust IT Onboarding Program, with role-specific education and experience from their mentor and their manager throughout their internship.

Internships are a key piece of Thrivent's entry level talent pipeline for our large IT division in Appleton WI and Minneapolis MN. IT interns are paid, beginning full-time in summer, with most continuing part-time through the school year or over breaks to maintain the relationship, or hired on at graduation.
