Each year, Hilton Worldwide selects rising sophomore, junior, and senior undergraduate students from partner hospitality or hotel management schools for a property assignment based in a hotel or resort across the United States. Property interns will complete both a general rotation through all areas of hotel operations, as well as garner work experience within a defined discipline in Event Services, Finance/Accounting, Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, Human Resources, Revenue Management or Sales & Marketing. The entire program will be ten weeks in length, with one week in general rotation and the remaining nine weeks working in a line-level operational role. Interns may choose their preferred geographic region and focus.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a four-year college or advanced degree program with a Hospitality, Business, or related discipline.
Must be a rising sophomore, junior or senior in the degree program.
Applicants must possess a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher. GPA of 3.3 is preferred.
Ability to be on-site and work at assigned hotel/resort.
Applicants must have the ability to fluently speak, read, and write in English.
Must be well organized and capable of prioritizing tasks associated with multiple projects at once.
Strong work ethic and analytical problem solving capabilities.
Positive attitude and perseverance in the face of challenges and/or changing circumstances.
Excellent presentation, speaking, and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a group environment with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
