Sponsored by the City of New York, the New York City Urban Fellows Program is a nine-month fellowship opportunity in local government. The fellowship provides recent college graduates who are interested in public service the chance to work alongside New York City government professionals across the city.
Fellows are assigned to various agencies throughout New York City and gain hands-on experience working on public policy issues. They also participate in educational workshops focused on matters like the City’s governmental structure and urban issues. Networking opportunities are also available through trips to Washington, DC and Albany and meetings with representatives and policy makers.
Open to recent graduates who are not more than two years out of college.
