Diageo offers two internships: the Supply Internship Program and the Marketing Summer Intern Program. Through the Supply Internship Program, undergraduates work at Diageo’s Brand Technical Center or one of the company’s manufacturing sites. They work in a variety of capacities, including compliance, customer care, engineering, liquid development, manufacturing, package engineering, procurement, quality, sensory science, and supply planning. The Marketing Summer Intern Program provides MBA graduates experience working on specialized projects within a business unit. Marketing interns participate in training and networking opportunities, including individual coaching, Lunch & Learns, and Executive Breakfasts. They also present their research and recommendations to senior Diageo management upon completion of the internship.
The Supply Internship Program is open to college juniors and seniors studying Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Distilling, Food Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain Management. The Marketing Summer Program offers post-MBA internships to individuals with two to five years of experience. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US and be 21 or older.
