About Fannie Mae Internship Program

Interns at Fannie Mae participate in on-site training receiving hands-on experience, and collaboration with a supportive team that affords them the opportunity to learn and grow at the same time. As the Fannie Mae program offers internships in every division, there is not a detailed account of the intern’s duties, job functions and responsibilities. This varies for each department.

The 10-week Summer Internship Program provides students with the opportunity to apply their education and perspectives to solving real-world issues. With hands-on experience and on-site training, students collaborate with a supportive team that affords them the opportunity to learn and grow at the same time. Fannie Mae interns are placed based on their specific skill set and interests. Our internship is hosted in our Washington, D.C., Reston, Virginia, Herndon, Virginia and Plano, TX offices.
