Sundt Construction, Inc. is one of the country’s most respected general contractors, currently ranked the 65th largest construction company in the United States by ENR, the industry’s principal trade magazine. We're consistently ranked a Best Place to Work by our own employees and known nationally for our innovative approach to construction services. We've also won more Build America awards from the Associated General Contractors of America than any other general contractor.
Sundt is a full-service building contractor with expertise that spans the entire lifecycle of construction. We offer Construction Management at Risk, Design-Build and Build to Suit Contracting, and can work within your preferred delivery system, including the traditional Design-Bid-Build approach. We also provide a host of services as Construction Managers and Program Managers, serving as your agent for managing the entire project development process for you, whether you have a single- or multiple-project program.
Sundt’s Internship Program is tailored to college students with a focus on Construction Management and/or Civil Engineering backgrounds. Students are given the tools and resources needed to learn the ropes as an entry level field engineer and/or estimator for a top 100 General Contractor. Students will be exposed to both the field (jobsite trailers) and office. Locations vary by project, but Sundt typically does work in the Southwest United States. Students will be assigned a mentor and supervisor for their 10-12 weeks on assignment. Students will be compensated hourly for their time, as well as travel reimbursements and accommodations if outside their place of residency.
Sundt is committed to hiring students at all years/levels in school. We require students to be enrolled in a 2 or 4 year university, have a fierce passion for the construction industry, and a GPA of 3.0 or higher. We are looking for the future leaders of the company!
