The NetApp Internship Program encompasses many different business units and individual teams. All interns are given the chance to develop a variety of skillsets through their work on business-critical projects and regular feedback/coaching sessions.
In addition to a rewarding experience sharpening skillsets while working on meaningful projects, all interns are included in the robust University Relations Internship Program. This program offers a wide array of activities and is designed to help build community amongst the interns, expose them to NetApp leadership and culture, and help them develop personally and professionally. Highlights of the program include mentor programs, team building activities, social events, volunteer time off, Leader Speaker Series featuring the CEO and other company leaders, and, at some sites, an end-of-summer Intern Showcase. The showcase allows interns a chance to share with all NetApp employees the hard work they’ve put in and the impact they’ve been able to have on the company.
Interns do important work during their time at NetApp and are afforded the same treatment and opportunities as full-time employees. They are invited to all-employee company meetings, given access to team events and trainings, and fully immersed in NetApp’s collaborative company culture.
Our internship program aims to accomplish five key goals:
1. Gain an understanding of NetApp business
2. Acquire knowledge about the specific role and organization in which the intern works
3. Engage and socialize with the community of interns and employees
4. Benefit from the opportunity to put education and experience into practice with real-world projects
5. Experience the true spirit of NetApp's collaborative culture
All interns must be pursuing a degree (Bachelor's, Master's, MBA, or Doctoral) and ideally demonstrate success in academic, social and extracurricular activities.
