Americas Early in University Internship
For first or Second Year University Students:
This is a twelve-week summer internship opportunity for university students in the US and Canada* who are interested in gaining technical and/or sales experience. During this internship, interns will learn about Cisco technology solutions, be exposed to Cisco field teams throughout the US and Canada, and will be involved in completing account research and insights for select customers. Upon successful completion of this program, interested interns are encouraged to apply for the Worldwide Sales Internship program the following summer.

Worldwide Sales Internship
For Third Year University Students:
This is a nine-week summer internship opportunity for students entering their final year of university in the US and select countries in Europe, who have a technical and/or sales interest. During the internship, interns are exposed to field teams, customers, and executives. Much of the intern’s time is spent collaborating with peers and sales coaches to uncover transformational opportunities that will address Cisco Account Teams’ top strategic initiatives across different industries and vertical markets. Interns also partake in role specific activities, providing hands-on training and experience related to the career path of a Cisco Account Manager or Systems Engineer. In addition to receiving a competitive salary, relocation and furnished housing is provided in the WWS internship locations. Upon successful completion of this program, interested interns have the potential to become part of the next generation of sales leaders within the Cisco Sales Associates Program (CSAP).
The Cisco Sales and Technical Internship consist of two programs, Worldwide Sales Internship and Americas Early-in-University Internship, in which both have opportunities to be a Field Sales or Field Engineering intern.
Top candidates illustrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, have a passion for technology, demonstrate strong teamwork and organization skills, are self-motivated and enthusiastic, and show up as a leader. In addition, the Field Engineering interns have programmability backgrounds with an understanding of basic computer languages, for example, C/C++, Java, Python, Linux.
All candidates must be in high academic standing, with a GPA or 3.0 or higher, and pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in one of the below fields of study:
Field Engineering Intern: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science
Field Sales Intern: Business, Sales, Communications, Finance, Computer Science, Marketing
The Americas Early-in-University Internship is for first or second year university students (rising sophomore or rising junior). Positions are available in the United States and Canada. Relocation assistance is not provided.
The Worldwide Sales Internship is for third year university students (rising senior). Positions are available in the United States and Europe. Relocation assistance and furnished housing are provided.
