Jefferies offers Summer Analyst and Associate Internship programs for students interested in finance careers. Internships are available in the following areas of interest: investment banking, equities, equity research and fixed income divisions.
The Analyst and Associate interns participate in a 10-week summer program (including orientation and training) where they will receive a deep understanding of market data and technical skills across a range of products. They will also learn case study analysis and receive formal presentation training. Interns receive support from colleagues who serve as, both, instructors and mentors. They will engage with senior bankers, meet industry experts and participate in educational and social events with colleagues, allowing them to make connections and grow their professional network.
Interns will receive reviews at the mid-point and end of the program. A full-time offer may be offered based on performance and potential.
Open to college juniors and seniors, graduate students, MBA candidates, and law students. Non-US citizens are eligible.
Jefferies & Company are looking for interns who are able to multitask and manage a variety of projects in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Candidates must demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism, along with strong analytical skills and detail to attention. The firm looks for individuals who are energetic and bring enthusiasm to the team. Applicants should have a strong academic background and an interest in pursuing a career in the capital markets. Although a background in accounting or finance can be helpful, Jefferies & Company hires interns who have studied a variety of disciplines.
