The company issues corporate, personal, and small business credit cards--close to 100 million of its cards are in use. American Express goes beyond credit cards, however, offering a membership rewards program, mobile services, protection services, savings accounts, small business apps, and other products.
American Express strives to provide interns with real-world experience combined with mentoring and training. Opportunitites are available in numerous areas, including consulting, finance, human resources, marketing, operations, risk management, sales, and technology. Interns also participate in social events, town halls, and networking activities, like lunches with senior leaders.
