Praxair’s Summer Internship Program is designed to expose you to key areas across the industrial gases business. You’ll work on challenging, high-profile assignments intended to prepare you for a role in our company upon graduation.
Internships at Praxair offer you an opportunity to apply classroom lessons in a real-world setting. Summer interns learn about our businesses, products, processes, and functions, while also developing critical competencies such as business strategy, business acumen and leveraging resources. The scope of the internship will allow you to add value to our organization by achieving well-defined, important strategic objectives. Internship opportunities may include the following: operations, tax, engineering, IT, or other areas of the company. Locations may include, but are not limited to: Buffalo, NY; Danbury, CT; Chicago, IL; and Houston, TX.

To be considered for an internship at Praxair, you need to:
- Be innovative, flexible, committed, ambitious and determined.
- Be actively pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s or Ph.D. degree in a relevant major that aligns with our business.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (preferred).
- Have hands-on experience through a previous internship or co-op role (preferred).
- Be a skilled communicator – able to think on your feet and express yourself using strong written, verbal, interpersonal and persuasive skills.
