2021 Vault Rankings
The NASA Langley Research Center (Hampton, VA) offers paid (stipend), year-round (3 sessions), highly competitive research internships for exceptional students to work with Langley researchers on some of the Nation’s most important, difficult, and challenging problems. The LARSS program emphasizes multi-disciplinary and collaboratively developed solutions to problems in such broad areas as (1) flight, including entry, descent, and landing, in all atmospheres; (2) Earth systems science, including the characterization of all atmospheres; (3) affordable, safe, and sustainable space exploration systems and technology; and (4) materials and structural concepts, analysis, and integration.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
• U.S. Citizenship
• Full-time student status at an accredited U.S. college or university
• Classification as a rising undergraduate junior or senior, or graduate student (master’s or doctoral level)
• Cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
