Intern Reviews

  • “The overall environment, in my case, is very manageable and comforting. I was provided everything I needed to work efficiently and without issue while still being able to attend classes.”
  • “The company culture is inviting, and everyone I have met has been very warm and welcoming to me. I was given the opportunity to create my own work schedule, and our internship leader, as well as the members of my team, are very flexible and understanding. As interns, we are limited to a certain number of hours that can be worked per month, so the flexibility in choosing your own schedule helps greatly.”
  • “Firm culture that welcomes technology and is always looking to improve. Do not just teach the interns but listen to interns to see if they can learn anything and adjust to the changing world. Also, very flexible and understanding when it comes to hours, which helps with work/life balance.”
  • “H&CO was one of the few firms that took me in while still being in school. They understood my priorities and encouraged me [to] take the time [I] need to focus on school while still contributing to the team. I was able to reduce my hours to balance both responsibilities. The work-life balance is [of] the utmost importance at this firm. I was treated as a professional.”

Getting Hired Here

  • “The interactions with my interviewers were very positive and engaging. They were not difficult, and they were very understanding of what I could bring to the table.”
  • “My first interview was over the phone with a recruiting intern, and the questions asked were not overly difficult. After, I was contacted to come into the office for an interview with one of the company's co-founders. The interview flowed more so as a conversation. I had one last interview with the lead recruiter, which focused more on the company's values, and I was able to ask any questions I had. Based on my experience, the company is interested in getting to know the candidates and wants to see if the company will be a good fit.”
  • “I found the process very smooth and easy; everyone was very nice and made me feel welcome since day one. My process consisted [of] a screening call and two interviews—one with my direct manager and the other one with one of the partners here at the firm.”
  • “Amazing and complete interview process. Felt comfortable asking questions to my hiring manager and made my first [day] really great since I was not nervous at all to talk to my supervisor.”
