Solutions Architects

Work Environment

Approximately 40 percent of computer and information systems managers worked more than 40 hours per week in 2014, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Solutions architects spend much of their days in meetings with company executives, managers, business analysts and other members of their team. The work can be stressful when deadlines loom and disagreements arise between members of the team. Solutions architects sometimes travel to client sites or satellite offices to oversee various projects.
