Overall, engineers earn salaries that range from less than $59,420 to $146,820 or more annually. Mechanics who worked as electrical and electronics repairers of commercial and industrial equipment had a median salary of $55,160 in May 2015. Geoscientists earned an average salary of $89,700, hydrologists earned $79,550, and geological technicians averaged $55,610 per year. Farmers and agricultural managers' salaries vary due to weather conditions and other factors that affect crop production. Agricultural managers had a median salary of $64,170 per year.
