Radio Frequency Identification Device Specialists

Work Environment

Radio frequency identification device specialists usually work indoors in offices, although they may at times work outside to investigate and test RFID equipment and systems. They work full time, 40 hours or more per week, with longer hours when project deadlines approach or when problems arise that need to be solved immediately. The job can be stressful when there is a heavy workload and deadlines are tight. RFID specialists spend much of the workday on computers, reading and writing reports and communicating with specialists, managers, coworkers, and RFID users.
