Radio Frequency Engineers

Work Environment

Radio frequency engineers usually work in offices during business hours on weekdays. They also may spend some time in manufacturing and production facilities and in laboratories for research and design. They work full time, typically 40 hours per week but may work longer hours when deadlines need to be met. They work independently and also in teams. The work can be stressful at times, especially when there is deadline pressure. Radio frequency engineers must also be able to collaborate effectively with other engineers and be adept at dealing with different personalities.
