Metallurgical Technicians


In May 2014, reported the average annual salary for metallurgical technicians was $41,000. The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) does not provide statistics specific to metallurgical technicians. In May 2015, the DOL reported that chemical technicians, a job with similar in scope, had median incomes of $44,660, with salaries ranging from $27,260 to more than $75,230. Geological and petroleum technicians earned $24,840 to $98,620 or more per year.
