Wages for industrial radiographers depend on the employer as well as the academic background and related work experience of the employee. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, radiologic technicians, which includes medical radiographers, earned a median salary of $56,670 in May 2015, with the lowest 10 percent earning $38,110 or less and the highest 10 percent earning $81,660 or more. In 2016, the career Web site SimplyHired reported that the average annual income for industrial radiographers was $41,260. Earnings ranged from less than $26,520 to $70,340 or more.
