According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the average annual salary for environmental engineering technicians in engineering and architectural services was $50,990 in May 2015. Salaries for all environmental engineering technicians ranged from less than $29,270 for the lowest 10 percent to $77,590 or more annually for the top 10 percent.
