Energy Brokers

Employment Prospects

Energy brokers work for energy companies, utility companies, and energy brokerage agencies. They may also work as independent consultants. The Department of Labor reports that there are 953,870 services sales representatives employed in the United States, including energy brokers. The energy industry directly employs about 2,200 of these workers, but demand for these professionals is expected to increase.
