Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists

Work Environment

According to a 2011 member survey by the ASET-The Neurodiagnostic Society, 38 percent of EEG technologists worked more than 40 hours a week. Some hospitals require them to be on call for emergencies during weekends, evenings, and holidays, and LTM labs frequently need technologists nights and weekends. Technologists doing sleep studies may work most of their hours at night.
