Diagnostic Medical Sonographers


According to the U.S. Department of Labor, diagnostic medical sonographers earned a median annual income of $68,970 in May 2015. The lowest paid 10 percent of this group, which included those just beginning in the field, made approximately $48,720. The highest paid 10 percent, which included those with experience and managerial duties, earned more than $97,390 annually. Median earnings for those who worked in hospitals were $70,500 and for those employed in offices and clinics of medical doctors, $68,460.
