Average salaries were highest ($511,000) in the North Central region (North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri), while the lowest ($348,000) were in the Southwest (Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico).
