The U.S. Department of Labor does not project job growth specifically for chief customer officers, but it predicts that employment for top executives will decline through 2028. It is difficult to predict future demand for chief customer officers. The position may not exist at small companies. It is more often found in large corporations. Growth will be driven by the formation of new positions at companies that see a need to better manage customer relations and in new organizations.
