The U.S. Department of Labor reports that biophysicists and biochemists employed in pharmaceutical and medicine manufacturing had annual mean incomes of $92,420 in May 2014. Those who worked for scientific research and development services had mean wages of $99,930 per year. Salaries for all biophysicists and biochemists ranged from less than $44,220 to more than $149,130 per year with a median annual salary of $84,940 for all bio physicists and biochemists.
