Anesthesiologist Assistants

Job opportunities for physician assistants are expected to grow faster than the average through 2024, according to the Occupational Outlook Handbook. The expansion of the health care industry and the medical needs of the growing elderly population will continue to create need for anesthesiology assistants and other medical professionals. Most anesthesiologist assistants find work immediately upon graduation. Anesthesiology assistants may also find work outside of hospitals, such as in freestanding surgical centers and respiratory therapy clinics.
