Over the following decade, Jay and his brother Donald Pritzker worked together to grow the company into a major North American hotel ownership and management company, Hyatt Corporation. In 1968, Hyatt International was formed to house non-US assets. In 2004, substantially all the hospitality assets owned by the Pritzker family, including Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International, were consolidated under the name Global Hyatt Corporation.
