Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation hopes it continues to live free or die hard. The company produces, acquires, and distributes big budget motion pictures. It has had a hand in two of the highest-grossing US movies of all time: Avatar and Titanic. The studio also had a hand in another big money-maker, the Star Wars franchise, which it distributed for Lucasfilm. Disney acquired the company in 2019 along with other Fox assets for $71.3 billion. Disney already owned the Pixar, Marvel, and the Star Wars brands, and with the purchase it gained Deadpool and Fox-owned Marvel characters such as the X-Men and Fantastic Four, uniting the full Marvel family.
