Bonneville International Corporation owns and operates about a dozen radio stations in four markets including Los Angeles, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, and Seattle. It also operates a television station (NBC affiliate KSL-TV in Salt Lake City). Other activities include Bonneville Distribution (distribution for Mormon Tabernacle Choir and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints radio and TV broadcasts), Bonneville Satellite Company (digital and analog services), and Bonneville Communications (public-service announcements for national not-for-profit organizations). The company is owned by Deseret Management, an affiliate of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Strategy

As it works to expand its digital reach, in late 2012 Bonneville International joined with streaming music, sports, and news service TuneIn to makes its broadcasts available to TuneIn's 40 million monthly active listeners.

In 2011 the company cut its portfolio by more than half when it sold 17 radio stations to Hubbard Broadcasting.
