About The Poirier Group
The Poirier Group (TPG) is a boutique management consulting firm based in Toronto, Ontario that specializes in delivering sustainable process and performance improvements to medium to large-sized businesses across North America and internationally. The company was founded by David Poirier in 2005, and client engagements since then have ranged from businesses in supply chain, manufacturing, retail grocery, private equity, IT, business services, health and life sciences, and government industries. Select teams of consultants have engaged in client projects including warehouse optimization, interim project management, lead-time Improvement, branch optimization, business transformations, operational cost reductions, HR improvements, 3rd party risk management, procurement strategies and more.
TPG hires consultants with backgrounds in Industrial and mechanical engineering as well as commerce and general business. Often, consultants have specialized designations and certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, CA/CMA/CPA, Professional Project Management, Professional Logistician, Professional Engineer, Supply Chain Management Professional, Certified Procurement Professional, Professional Change Management and various IT competencies. While consultants may come from a variety of different fields and backgrounds, they all have an underlying commitment to achieving results fostered through open, honest and direct communication both with internal team members and with their clients.

15 Years ago The Poirier Group was founded. At that time, David Poirier, CEO, began the company with high hopes and more than a little trepidation. The goal was lofty: to create a consulting experience that was based on trust and collaboration, that had enduring positive results for our clients. Now, a decade and a half later, hundreds of projects completed, and our 100% positive client referral rate intact, TPG well exceeded original expectations. We are so grateful for our wonderful clients, employees, and a supportive community for making the last 15 years exceed anything we could have hoped for!
