Founded in France in 1999, Sia Partners has to date been a firm with a strong track record of success. Sia Partners announces membership in World Economic Forum
As a member of the World Economic Forum, Sia Partners joins a select group of the most influential companies worldwide that form a network to drive societal change. One of the few consulting firms to join such a prestigious institution, Sia Partners will participate on both a global and a local level.
Sia Partners launches its investment fund Studio and announces its first start-up, Big Moustache
With 3 million euros and Sia Partners as the sole stockholder, this investment fund will accompany select start-ups over the next three years, through their incubation and acceleration periods. Studio targets investment tickets of approximately 500,000€ for a 25-45% stake in companies in a range of industries.
Studio's first investment is Big Moustache, giving it a capital increase of 500,000€. Big Moustache is an e-commerce site for men's shaving products, where consumers receive all materials for their shaving needs on a monthly basis.
Sia Partners Announces the Acquisition of Management Consulting Firm Molten Group
Sia Partners, a leading international independent consulting firm, announces the acquisition of Molten Group ("Molten"), a management consulting firm of 35 consultants based in London and Houston. Founded in 2003, Molten specializes in Transformation with clients primarily in the Financial Services, Oil & Gas and Consumer sectors, generating more than £6m ($8m) in revenues.
By integrating Molten with the London office of Sia Partners, the company increases its critical size in the UK middle market, with close to 60 consultants in four practices and £9m ($12m) in combined revenue. In North America, Sia Partners will have a fourth office (New York, Charlotte, Montreal and now Houston) and 80 consultants, for revenues totaling £13m ($17m).
Sia Partners expands its services to Luxembourg
After announcing its plans to recruit over 200 employees in 2016, Sia Partners opened its 19th office in Luxembourg. The Luxembourg location is fully integrated with the offices in Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam, allowing collaboration with clients across Europe. While it primarily focuses on financial services, the Luxembourg office also accompanies clients in energy and other sectors.
Sia Partners opens 2nd US office in North Carolina
In keeping with its North American expansion plan, Sia Partners announced the opening of a second office in Charlotte, North Carolina. This office will handle operations in the southeastern states, from North Carolina to Florida.
