About Protiviti Asia-Pacific

Protiviti is a global consulting firm whose name is a combination of words, including "professionalism," "proactivity," "independence" and "integrity." Founded as a subsidiary of Robert Half in 2002, in the days leading up to the passage of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the firm started out with more than 700 professionals from Arthur Andersen's U.S. internal audit and business risk consulting practices. Today, with more than 3,400 professionals operating out of more than 70 offices in over 20 countries, the firm serves clients in a broad swath of industries, including consumer products/retail, energy, financial services, government, healthcare and life sciences, industrial products/manufacturing, transportation, hospitality, private equity, and technology, media and communications.

After its founding, the firm expanded at a rapid pace, growing to the globe-spanning organization it is today. As one of the world's largest independent internal audit and risk consulting firms, Protiviti has a thing or two to say about its areas of expertise. The firm regularly participates in and sponsors a variety of industry conferences and tradeshows in order to share risk management strategies. The firm also hosts webinars and local events to provide insight into a variety of business issues. Protiviti's subject-matter experts frequently contribute articles to trade publications and speak at conferences, as well.

For the bookworms, Protiviti's online library provides complimentary access to its thought leadership, including survey reports, white papers, resource guides, regulatory updates,  newsletters, case studies, videos, webinars  and blog. Protiviti's KnowledgeLeader, a subscription-based website, offers additional tools, templates and resources, such as best practices, white papers and methodologies. 

Additionally, Protiviti has a mobile app called Protiviti Mobiliti that delivers its experts’ latest perspectives and insightful thinking about governance, risk, compliance and internal audit directly to users’ mobile devices. COVID-19 Update

To adjust to working during the pandemic, Protiviti developed a unified strategy to transition to a fully remote workforce. First, we keep our people informed via live-streamed meetings with our leadership team, frequent emails from our CEO and executive team, weekly ‘water cooler’ virtual huddles with local office leaders, and a dedicated intranet microsite for sharing the latest information from health agencies.

To help with the challenges of working from home, employees have been given additional flexibility in their work schedules and extra paid time off to care for family members affected by COVID-19. We also provide resources for working from home, including for our working parents and for maintaining mental and physical wellbeing, such as the “crisis care” for dependents offered by our back-up care provider and online yoga classes. We make sure we stay connected by using tools such as Microsoft Teams and Yammer.

We continue to actively recruit and look for specific skillsets in areas such as financial services, risk and compliance and IT audit to help our clients maintain business continuity and operational resilience while dealing with the challenges brought by the pandemic. Our recruiting efforts are currently being conducted remotely, and we’ve transitioned our award-winning onboarding program, Passport to Protiviti, to a virtual/online, informative and welcoming experience. Our summer intern program has also been re-invented as a virtual experience and will enable our interns to interact remotely with Protiviti employees and senior leadership to build valuable knowledge and skills for their future careers.
