Caden Strategy is a boutique strategy consulting firm providing market intelligence, strategy development and acquisition support to business leaders.

The firm was built on the back of a strong relationship with a global seafood company. It helped management develop and implement a very aggressive European growth strategy, taking revenues from €600m to €1bn.

The Food & Beverage industry remains Caden Strategy’s core focus. However, the client base is now much more diverse. It includes market leaders as well as small-medium sized enterprises that are challenging the status quo.

A Collaborative, Commercial Style With Real Insight

Caden Strategy prefers to work in partnership style with clients rather than in parallel with them.

Team members are resolutely commercial (most have significant experience in finance and/or startups) and think more like business owners than advisers.

The ultimate objective of Caden Strategy is to enable clients to make strategic decisions with knowledge and confidence. This is achieved through forensic analysis and insightful interviews.

Hands-on Leadership

The firm was established in 2013 by David Caden who has 20 years of international consulting experience. This includes projects for notable FMCG players like Mondelez International, Mars and Nike, as well as players in other industries including E.ON, DHL Excel and Lend Lease. Prior to his work in consulting, David was a Vice-President at J.P. Morgan in Singapore and London.

David oversees all assignments awarded to Caden Strategy but goes out of his way to include team members in all aspects of a project. Very quickly, team members are given the freedom to manage their own workstreams, but will be supported and coached when necessary.
